Michael Tee

Beginning as a Grand Prix photographer for leading publications including Motor Sport and Motoring News, Tee went on to found LAT Archives, one of the world’s leading motorsport photographic agencies with 13.5 million images.

He photographed the first Grand Prix at Silverstone in 1948 and started centrespreads in Motor Sport in 1949, contributing and editing them over the next 30 years.

Tee photographed every Grand Prix outside Europe from 1959 to 1969 and also founded CSS, a major F1 sponsorship and promotions agency through the 70s and 80s.

Tee is one of the four longest serving Trustees of the Grand Prix Mechanics Charitable Trust.
